The Greater Denton/Wise County Association of REALTORS® (GDWCAR) is hosting it's first annual Party with a Purpose benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Denton County!

Dance to live music from In10City, enjoy complimentary appetizers, partake in our cash bar, and participate in our raffles, all benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Denton County.
 

GDWCAR hopes to raise enough to be able to build a home for a local family in need. Your ticket purchase or charitable donation will help us build a home and our community here in Denton.

Commercial Sales Contract 101 EDU (GDWCAR)

This is a remote course offering through Texas REALTORS®

 This course provides students with an understanding of the important issues and clauses common to all commercial sales contracts. It then focuses on the Commercial sales contracts provided by TAR for Improved and Unimproved property transactions, with related forms and addenda. Students are reminded of the requirement to use TREC promulgated forms for one-to-four family, Farm and Ranch, and residential condo sales, as well as the dangers of practicing law without a license.

Discovering Commercial Real Estate (GDWCAR)

This is a remote course offering through Texas REALTORS®

The course offers a broad overview of the basics of commercial real estate and how it differs from residential real estate. Students will be able to distinguish and understand the broker's role and discover the different types of commercial properties, terms, valuation methods, marketing and resources for further education. Students will learn about Commercial contracts; the duties of those professionals who assist in commercial transactions; key differences between commercial and residential real estate; the types of commercial real estate and commercial transactions along with resources provided by NAR's Commercial Department and its affiliates.

This is an ideal introductory course for those who are newly licensed and/or residential agents who want to learn more about commercial real estate. It will explain the business and introduce many of the resources needed to conduct a commercial transaction or pursue a career in commercial real estate.
